I just hope he gets effectively and beyond all doubt caught, and then punished, so that in a few years--as soon as possible--nobody will be mentioning his name, nevermind his nickname, and we'll be able to talk about what's going on in the sport now. So "what's his name?" would be the ideal nickname.

That's great news. Because if I had to name America's biggest disgrace, I'd probably say something about the genocide of native inhabitants and theft of a continent, slavery, the brutal oppression of Jim Crow, our continuing use of the Third World as a massive grist-mill to feed our bloated over-consumption... But if the worst thing this country has to account for is some guy cheating in a few bike races, then hey, I'm starting to feel pretty much ecstatic about being American. USA! USA! USA!
