If Denmark fail to win this because of lacking La Vuelta, we will remember the racing that has been lacking these last few days.

Or maybe we will have forgotten, because I reckon this will take a long time to complete.

I think Denmark would've had a hard time winning this anyway.

I believe that only Switzerland and Netherlands have the full set even if the start date is set to the invention of the sport. And that requires going back to 1951 and 1966 respectively.

Isn't that partly a result of the relatively short history of ITT WC? I'm guessing that's the only one missing for Belgium.

The crazy thing is Pogacar on his own has 9/17 ticked off and feels like a more plausible candidate to reach the 17 faster than any other country (Slovenia obviously excluded) with only Italy a chance of getting there first.

Surely Pog will have a crack at Roubaix soon. Even then it’s not beyond the bounds of possibility for Mohorič or Tratnik to go well there.
