1984 Proloque

Oops, that pic is from the 1984 Proloque - not 1985.

(1984 was LeMond's first TdF, and he just barely made it to the
proloque start house on time (below). Greg did make the Final Podium,
however, as he remembered to pack his suitcase of courage!)

if Fignon was the first to wear an aero helmet in a Tour TT, how ironic an aero helmet on another's head would seal his fate in the 89 Tour, when he let his ponytail flow!
(yeah I know he had other problems too, just taking poetic license here)
