And your incessant repetitions of "nobody thinks Horner is clean" doesnt make it true. Even not if you tell me this the next 1.000 times.

The ball is in your court. Feel free to link to any post where someone argues that Horner is clean. In...of course...the Horner thread. Not this one.

Crickets.

This chart provides a typical power-duration table. For a 5? period, 6.88 watts/kg corresponds to about 5.8 watts/kg at functional threshold, variously defined as 40-60 minutes. Though this is an average relationship, everyone may be a little different, I think Froome?s output can be reasonably extrapolated to roughly 6.0 watts/kg for an extended climb. That is certainly not impossible to imagine clean.

Again, I understand this is early season, and just because some power output is possible clean for some riders doesn?t mean it should be for someone with Froome?s history. But the point is, this performance by Froome is by no means as suspicious as that of some others of his in the past. Indeed, it was just about a year ago when he and Porte rode that climb in Southern France, I forget the name, and the Dawg claimed an output of the same 6.8-6.9 watts/kg over something like 30-35 minutes, IIRC. That is far more suspicious than this recent performance.

That should clue you into the fact that no one cares. Nor does it excuse your off-topic, incessant rants about Horner.

I got what you mean, but you didnt what I mean. Thats the difference here. Again for you in slow-motion and perfect english:

IF I TALK ABOUT FROOME IN THE HORNER THREAD ITS OFF TOPIC. IF I TALK ABOUT HORNER IN THE FROOME THREAD ITS OFF TOPIC. You see it now???

Conclusion: AS YOU and others do (and which is perfectly fair); when talking about a rider in context with another one, it is NORMAL that a name other than the original thread name appears. Omg, even a 3 year old would get that!

And I rant as you call it as long as you rant about others. What goes around comes around.

GOT IT NOW? After I have explained it to you for the 100th+ time in estimated 2 years!

Again: You are not the one who tells me what I have to do and what not.
If I feel like to post about Horner I do it when I want.
If I want to talk about Horner in context with Froome I do when I want.
And if I see the need to link to the countless post of people thinking Horner is clean, I do it when I want, not when you self-proclaimed highness orders it.

You did and you know it. Just turn back a page.

I don't think that anyone things Horner is clean. It boggles the mind how he can get away with it. However, not many people are claiming he is clean, and the back and forth is what keeps this thread alive.

It would have been grand to see them all in a Le Tour head to head. Nibali, Contador, Froome, Horner. Would have fallen somewhere in between tragedy and comedy I think, but entertaining nonetheless.

They do, I read a whole lot of this in the RR thread, and when the comment section was still open under the cycnews articles. And here in the clinic, one stands out: Master50...
Now I dont have a problem with that. Everybody is free to talk his opinion.
But I absolutely dont like to be attacked by the same few posters again and again when I talk about Horner in context with Froome.
If others can do it with Nieve, Rogers, Contador, etc over and over again, they shall endure when ONE poster does the same within the Horner-Froome context...
The problem with redflanders is: he wants to shut down freedom of speech if other opinions go against his will. Thats when all alarm bells ring to me. He can shut down the weak, but not me.
And if people care or dont about my opinions is not his business, nor is it a reason to (try to) shut me down.

Oh yeah, I shouldn't have used a blanket statement. But my point was that because more people are pushing back on the Sky threads, that is why there is more discussion.

Plus Horner hasn't been seen so far this year, so some outrageous performances might put him back in the spotlight.

Still though, that head to head in the big races would have been fantastic. Also would keep me checking in here more often for the discussion.

We almost had it in La Vuelta. But you may know, I was very happy not to see Horner there. What an grotesque podium it would have been: A old man in the middle between two young(er) athletes. Doped too, no question, but the picture itself whould have been even more farcial to the world than cycling already looks...

Of course. It couldn't possibly be that you're full of it and can't back up a word of your nonsense.

Not saying Froome is clean, but 6.8 - 6.9 watts/kg is certainly possible (for some riders) for just 6-7 minutes.

This early is very suspicious. Dropping AC by that much is very suspicious. Froome is suspicious, anyway, for a host of long-discussed reasons.

But that power output for such a short period of time is not necessarily suspicious.
Can you name one clean rider who has put that kinda power on his cranks, besides Chris the Clean Champ?

Here you are person number two asking you to stop because you make no sense foxy it is not only red who is fed up of your trolling. I would really rather not have to read your drivel to be able to catch up on the thread.
No one in here in the last thousand pages thinks anything you post about horner has a touch of sense to it so please stop As everyone has asked on multiple occasions
if you have anything useful to say please enlighten us otherwise as my gran would say - if you have nothing good or useful to say do the wise thing and stay quiet.
As for the Froome ability to hold 6w/kg for a climb that would be purely suitable for someone to do in isolation clean but the day after a similar battle on a mountain and two days after a full on ITT still strikes me as somewhat unsustainable for a clean rider, even with a history of being a powerhouse.

Froome is doing an ama at this moment on this twitter.

Isn't it strange he doesn't know his own VO2max?
