He lives in London, with that you are correct doesn't mean he's British.

You should ask him on that other forum where he comes from.

He supports every British athlete and refers to the England football cricket and rugby teams as "we". Lets not pretend that he's French or something.

Anyway the discussion has been sidetracked. Its believing Froome is clean not being a fan of his that's the discussion. People can like who they want. They can be Armstrong fans for all I care. Its denying the truth that's the issue and clearly being biased by coming from the same country as someone like Froome is with a very small ammount of exceptions the only motivation for believing they could be clean.

Speaking of embarrassing victory salutes...

The best thing for me about Contador's "pistolero" is how easily it irritates his detractors. I find it endlessly amusing. :)

Contador's "pistolero" is just lame ..

Imagine how amazing it would be if he did it right in Valverde's face.

I think a mix of circumstances has led him to a decline..
It does not seem extremely heavy now.
but I doubt he will be a factor at all next year...

His riding now, reminds me of Ullrich...

Contador trolling.......

His actions today speak to the statement being true. It was like the 2010 Flèche Wallonne, but for 8 kilometers. Turning his head over and over and over again to see where Froome was.

Absolutely. I re-watched the final kilometres, Contador would attack whenever he saw Froome coming back to him. It's quite incredible to watch.

It must be "painful" for Contador's fans to hear him say this but as said above his actions definitely back up what he said/believes.

I remember in the Dauphine when Froome attacked like crazy time and time again but still couldn't shake Contador and the fanboys was claiming Contador had won a huge mental victory and how Froome was an idiot and that he now would fear Contador.

Kind of looks like Contador is the one with mental scars from that race, not the other way around...

yeah Froome is so strong he is over a minute back!!!

Froome is so strong he lost time in the TT finishing behind Evans FFS..........

Froome is so strong he is losing time ( although only seconds) but still losing time.....

If Froome is so strong then tomorrow he will beat all those above him in GC

Froome is not strong right now. Which makes Contador's obsession with him baffling.

I agree with you Benotti, Froome is not that strong and is as you point out, losing time everywhere. But Contador still acts like Froome is about to launch himself into space at any moment, which is really, really weird.

Yes and no...

Froome, as well as SKY has proven inconsistency to the point of no believe...

I think Froome time is over, but Contador does not have the luxury of a forum poster ;)

Saturday's stage must have shocked Contador. Maybe Riis shouted in his ear that Froome is gone, dead and then suddenly he saw the dawg pass him on 20% gradient.

Don't forget Contador is several birthdays past his best.
That's why J Rod and Valverde can keep up with him.

You forgot to clarify your sarcasm (I hope). Piti has had an additional 3 B-days & J-Rod 4. Good thing Horner isn't there to make that comment even more silly

I think Contador is trolling Froome after Froome's comment about stopping 'riders' at cafés and then Froome's comments about the testing on Tenerife as he was leaving while Contador and Nibali were still out there.......

Contador is being subtle.

You disagree that Contador is several years past his best?

You think it might have more to do with the fact that he's riding on a broken leg and did not peak for this race?

You appear to be more worried than him :D
