As is this statement, again for most people: I don't care.

The thing some of you who feel all self righteous about doping fail to understand is that there are a lot of people who just do not care about doping as much as you. You remind me of bible thumpers, every issue becomes doping. Vaughters comes out for clean cycling and promotes it actively - but its not enough for you, he needs to confess all his prior misdeeds!

Are these standards you hold yourselves to? You have no hidden secrets that if you told them would end your career, but you threw them out there because it is what some geeks on a message board felt was the 'right' thing to do?

Give me a break. Develop some nuance to your arguments if you hope to persuade rather than beating everything to death with your hammers.

I don't know a single cyclist who "doesn't care" about doping.

Thanks for revealing your lack of morality to the board though, now we all know where you're coming from. ;)

OH and Hunter was an idiot to say Gustov weighs 80 kilos (even if he weiged 100 kilos he'd never ever get to 486 bloody watts for 30 minutes cleanly.)

He's probably like 74 kg max for those stage races. 80 would make most guys "a tank."

I don't think you know anything about cycling.

Larsson rode that TT at 46.77 kph over 24 k. Lemond held the record for the fastest TT in TdF history at 54.55 kph over 24.5 k. Lemond appears to have been clean. You can go pretty damn fast cleanly.

Or be like Svein Tulf on your team... who's 'clean' Who used his "tent" (which in no study has show to raise hematocrit at all in any control group) to get his crit up "past the 50% limit." bla bla bla Tulf... You mean the Dynepo (human epo) you jacked to win all your big races with. LOL!

Hmm, here's what I know about Svein. We both tested at the University of British Columbia in the summer of 2000. I did 70ml/kg/min vo2 at 504 watts. He did 86 at 560 and for sure he was over 180 pounds. Used to be a fat fukker. He definitely wasn't jacked as he'd only upgraded from cat 4 that winter. Heh heh.

Erm, what else, he's a vegetarian, and quit the sport cause he was sick of the doping scene. He only came back to race locally for fun in Western Canada. I'm actually surprised that he's racing at the top level again.

If you look at his results this year, they hardly set the world on fire. I'm not convinced he's doping. He's the biggest natural talent I've ever ridden with and yet he's pack fodder in the Protour. I think he was getting paid a 1000 bucks a month last year when he pulled that 2nd in Worlds. Where'd he get the cash and knowledge to pull off a big jack to get that result?

There's NO WAY in hell that any of Vaughter's top riders are clean... What a joke. LOL

Clean riders would struggle to keep up and the only time they could draft would be on flat stages and they would not even be able to pull at all... You'd be lucky to finish a Grand Tour clean and let alone a top 50 (which Fingon and Lemond more than did.)

WHAT AN ***!!! Vaughters has been to lie and make all these people believe him. Its sickening and I hope one of his riders is involved in a major blood bank scandal like that HumanPlasma in Vienna.

Fignon's diagnosis comes on the eve of the release of his book, "Nous étions jeunes et insouciants" (We were young and carefree) in which he reveals the use of performance-enhancing drugs during his career. He admitted to taking amphetamines and cortisone, but said that his cancer was not caused by his past doping.

From the front page. Not sure why you follow pro cycling TBH.

Lemond fastest ITT was done in a downhill ITT (Versailles-Paris)with wind. All riders that day were fast.
Yes, I can break Lemond's record with no training over the same distance, I will start top of Galibier or Sestrieres..

I'm not even sure what to think of JV anymore. I remember seeing him at a local race when he was with the TIAA-Cref kids. I talked to some of them, and I thought he was doing a noble thing then, and the clean message might stick on them.

The team he runs now, and the events he competes in now, are much, much bigger than anything TIAA-Cref did. It's a very different world he's competing in, with a very different team.

Their Giro performances did look cleaner, but I honestly don't know.
Surprising to me that while so many look at Bruyneel's Astana program with distain, they give Stapleton's Columbia and Riis' SaxoBank outfits a pass.

The more I listen to the cynics, the more I come around to BigBoat's perspective - everyone is jacked! And with that perspective, I no longer concern myself with who is jacking, but with who is jacking outside the tolerable limits set forth by the UCI, or ASO...

Jacked Denis Menchov won the Giro over Jacked Danilo Di Luca and Jacked Franco Pellizotti. Without time bonuses, Jacked Carlos Sastre would be behind Jacked Ivan Basso. Had he not performed so well in the really early season, Jacked Levi Leipheimer could have podiumed.

I cant wait to see Jacked Cadel Evans stomping Jacked Alberto Contador in the upcoming TdF.

Guys there's an inverse between speed and power output (watts) quite often. ex. (I can rider from my house down to the big boat docked at the tourist bay at 50 watts average but my average speed is 64 km/hr.) :)

My cat woudnt need to be jacked to average 50 watts. LOL Okay mabe I'm a little drunk.
