I think the notion that EPO is only for the big teams with lots of money is a thing of the past.
Also makes you think, now that EPO is seemingly widely available, what are the big teams using to get an edge?

What? Even in the 90's the mafia were allegedly hijacking whole trucks of EPO to sell to amateurs and people have testified that it's been readily available through pharmacies in Turkey, Switzerland, Colombia, and elsewhere. For the BBC athletics documentary the presenter bought it off the internet from China easily enough.

What are the pros using? Experimental metabolism-changing peptides with unknown long term side effects, and also the good old yin/yang of mini transfusions and EPO microdoses.

they start much younger than 18. this kid's a veteran.
