I'll be surprised if that second group comes back

I thought that at first as well, but the second group looks a lot more motivated. I don't really understand GreenEdge's tactics because they turn on the gas at times, but then don't really push the pace which gives others the chance to catch back on.

Yeah, it's tough loving Rabo. Makes it worthwhile anytime they pull something off, tho. Like twice a season at most.

on CN twitter it says Phil has already been caught being in a 3rd group on the road...he has no chance at all in de Ronde.

I thought the two groups joined together.

Phil should still be in the peleton. Belgian television would have certainly showed him being dropped?

I don't really care who wins this race as long as it isn't a rider from GreenEdge. I just can't understand their tactics because they like to push the pace and then slow it down and block the front to make sure that no one else can attack. I'm really hoping that another team decides to take control of this race and drops all of the GE boys on the next climb.
