You are all talking about unwritten rules so AC/DM/SS can do whatever they want and none of you, including me, can say it was wrong because we’ve never been in a position to make a decision that could win or lose you the greatest cycling race ever.
If however you still feel AC doesn’t deserve to win now then nether does DM & SS because they should have been ‘gentlemen’ and waited despite knowing it would massively damage their chances of winning.
Oh and who's to say that AS wouldn't have done exactly the same apart from him!
