there's an article on bici about it, they decided to drop him at the last second because of some guys succes in asturias.

I really hate Unzue now and hope he dies in a fire
Sky have paid them some good euros to secure Henao's white jersey.

edit: or Uran, of course.

Angelo Pagani
Marco Coledan
Sonny Colbrelli
Sacha Modolo

Really excited for what Colnago can do, especially Battaglin and Modolo.
Pozzovivo may do well in GC, may win a stage but I am not really expecting anything much for him as I cant see him as being much of a GT rider or having enough Recovery and endurance in the final week.

For Movistar, Visconti will certainly win a stage somewhere probably out of a breakaway and Ventoso will top3 twice.
Lastras and Pardilla should perform reasonably well in the mountains and so should Benat considering his perfomance in Asturias but I dont expect much from Bruseghin just cause I dont think he has the form.

senor unzue's logic is correct though.he says all the mountains put at the end of three weeks can do bad things to a youngster's body.he will prepare for dauphine

Well they should have Quintana race some pre-Giro race then to assess his form. This is stupid.

131 Bart De Clercq (Bel)
132 BULGAC Brian (Ned)
133 Francis De Greef (Bel)
134 Kenny Dehaes (Bel)
135 Gert Dockx (Bel)
136 Adam Hansen (Aus)

I don't think he'll be starting. On the other hand; a while back it was confirmed that Lars Bak would be riding. Not heard anything about him not going to after all...

lol, who's mad enough to bet a Euro on Cav? :D

Tommy D G was 500/1 somewhere. So I put 50p on him either way.

Not sure how it works but if he gets a Arroyo break and wins I get like 120 or something no? If he podiums I thinl I get maybe 40squid or something

Exactly. It seems they told him to go and prepare for the Giro for a month, then when he came back decided he could do Vuelta a Madrid and Tour of Picardie instead. I wouldn't mind if I thought he might ride the Vuelta instead, but I doubt it. Still, at least it's better than the way Lampre appear to be treating Anacona.

Weakest team on show apart from NetApp? FDJ and Saxo are running them close, I guess.

Lotto have the weakest team on paper IMO. But their lineup from last year was pretty crummy too and they came away with a stage.

Probably a good idea though. Send Quintana to the Vuelta instead and he can do the Giro next year.

I doubt it as well. It will be his job to haul Griepel and VDB around France in July.

wonder what Uran and Henao will get up to. Should have sent Nordhaug too!
All three of them together in a GT? The rest of the field combined couldn't contain the attacking awesomeness! I'm sure I'm not the only one enjoying the Henao/Nordhaug double act that's going ATM.

Aye, the Henao/Nordhaug tandem was awesome so I'm hoping for more of the same from Henao/Uran - although I'm wondering if Uran doing the Giro means he will miss out on the Tour this year after doing so well last year?

Apparently Adam Hansen is starting (he wrote so on Twitter, guess we have to believe the man himself when he says so)

Still I can't believe Lars Bak won't be starting, simply because if he suddenly was a non-starter after all I can assure you Danish media would've mentioned it!
Here's to startlist from Cyclingfever.com

LOTTO - BELISOL TEAM
BAK Lars Ytting Denmark
BILLE Gaetan Belgium
BULGAC Brian Netherlands
DE CLERCQ Bart Belgium
DE GREEF Francis Belgium
HANSEN Adam Australia
KAISEN Olivier Belgium
