Living in Genova, I can't disagree with thatLupetto said:Lecco wants a stage next year for a time trial to Piani Resinelli. And there could be a tough mountain stage with Piani di Praglia, Madonna della Guardia, Bocchetta, Castagnola and Giovi finishing in the heart of Genova.

Timmy-loves-Rabo said:I like Alpe D'Heuz, despite the not so steep (still tough) gradient, it usually is pretty decisive. The constant corners are great.
Etna I find to be very overrated (I looked at the profile prior to the giro, and thought it more after they raced it).
But anyway Zoncolan is just amazing. I love seeing the strongest grind their way up a mountain, slowly opening a gap.
T'is better then any one day race, or stage for me. Epic.

@giroditalia
Feel a little bit empty without the race, the fight, the passion of our fans...but stay tuned: surprises to come in the next days! #giro

Ferminal said:Alpe and Etna are different climbs. Alpe is what, 14km at over 8%? It's shorter and steeper than most others (in France).
I prefer the odd 20-25km climb at over 6%, but it can be bad if no one attacks early, Etna without Contador would have been horrible.

BV even with 500 k's of time trial your boy tony martin would still lose. jjust get over it.
El Pistolero said:2007 had more then 120km of time trial and still a pure climber would have won that totally sucks in time trials(Rasmussen) and the winner on the road was also a pure climber back then with an average time trial.
Having 200km of time trials will just end up in Contador winning with a 20 minute margin on the second.
