did you just ignored the last part of my post? do you even know what a PhD is?

he also finished 8th on this year's giro in case you didn't notice. no1 is saying is GT winning material, but to say he is past his prime is just being ignorant.

that's only your vision of this matter. time will show who of us is ignorant

in my view, both gadret and pozzovivo passed their prime, but gadret generally was brighter.

Pozzovivo is definitely not past his prime yet, this season has been his best so far. The graphs on CQ are great for seeing how a rider is improving in their career, and pozzovivo is on the rise.

I think they will both struggle to win a GT but not sure about who is smarter. Maybe Pozzovivo is a better team mate ? Gadret should just concentrate on certain stages and forget GC. I think he is like Kreuziger. Having trouble getting to the next level.

If Wiggins rides this and wins i will congratulate him, even though the 55km ITT would still suit him. As defending champ at the TDF though he should still start that but he would probably have to work for Froome.

I am hoping one of Nibali, Sanchez and Hesjedal win. JROD too if he tries.

If Wiggins can replicate his Tour form he will be very hard to beat. If his plan really is to win all three grand tours, good luck to him if that's what he wants. I can't see Sanchez winning a grand tour now and I think Ryder would have a better chance to win the Giro. Not sure which race Nibali will target but I think Rodriguez will definitely ride the Tour.

Sorry i was meaning to say at the Giro for Hesjedal. If Cadel rides the TDF i will cheer for him to get on the podium and Contador/ Shleck/ Froome/ Nibali/ Gesink/ Rolland and Pinot and then any rider on my CQ team who is going for GC.

Yeah I think 2013 could be Cadel's last year. Would be good to see him finish on a high with a good result. If he rides next year in will only be as a support for TJVG unless he wants to ride the Giro one last time.

I could see van Gaderen have a shot at next years Giro. Parcours really suits him.
This would offer Evans a final chance at the tour. I think it would be fair.
Van Garderen won't win the Tour next year anyway. But te a Giro podium is possible.
In 2014 heÄll be a serious threat at the Tour win.

Purito ensures he's coming.

I want the pink jersey and in 2013 I'll be at the Giro start. 55 kms of ITT are a lot for me, but this Giro features a lot of climbing too, and I wanna try [to win it]. This year I lost the Giro because I underestimated my opponent, and the Vuelta because I underestimated a stage, but now I know I can win a GT.

The Worlds of Florence suit me, it's my biggest goal. Climbers' worlds are very rare so I have to exploit this chance.

S**t news:eek:.I want him in Tour after years, with not too much TTing it would be good for podium, but I understand him cos of Vuelta and Worlds.

That surprises me. He must think Contador will be unbeatable in the Tour.

He has two options.:DTry to win Giro(with long pancake TT-bad chance) or podium on Tour(good chance but it's not so important as Pink).So...

Not just Contador, but everyone might go for the tour leaving the Giro more open than ever.

or he just thinks that if he peaks for the Tour he won't be there to win the Worlds or La Vuelta.

this too.
