Outside of Contador, Porte, Aru, Uran - Who will finish highest in the GC?

Almost everyone is seeing Pozzovivo as a favorite to have a biggest shot of highest placing outside the Big 4. With the unfortunate incident yesterday, Who now takes this one?

Kreuziger should finish quite highly now, similar to the 2013 tour maybe as a super dom. I think there could be a few others who finish highly today in the front group and become inspired to hold on for a top 10

I was expecting Ryder to race smarter when he has GC ambitions but he did his normal sit at the back and it cost him big time today. I can see him improve on his current GC but he has a lot of work to even make top 6 now.

Kreuziger looked very strong yesterday. If he is allowed to get a good result, he would be a top 5 candidate.

Agree that Kreuziger looks very strong. At the moment, I'd say the level of strenght is:

1. Contador
2. Porte
3. Aru
4. Landa
5. Kreuziger
6. Uran

Edit: Not even sure about Uran. Hard to judge.

That looks like a fairly good list at the moment but I wouldn't rate Landa so highly just after today, he did look very strong though, Uran reportedly has a cold at the moment so expect him to come back into it and I think Kreuziger's stage racing qualities should show further into the race.

Konig looked good today too, there will be a few surprises for sure, Cataldo also racing well and Jurgen Van Broeck could feature, too early to really know yet
