People can talk about lack of dope creating less action, but the main reason for the less action today is that the leader's jersey can always count on everybody placed 4-10th in GC being his domestiques whenever number 2 or 3 in the GC attacks. Attacks are more difficult.

That has nothing to do with dope and everything to do with WorldTour points.
