Looks a no contest from here on in. Why oh why didn't the other contenders do more to pressure Quintana throughout that first week.

One proper climb and he takes half a minute. In the multiple climb stages in the Alps and dolomites he'll be well out of sight.

Okay, Quintana seems to be the strongest, but that said the giro is anything but over. Dumoulin and Pinot lost a bit more than 20 seconds on one of the hardest climbs of the whole giro and will probably both gain a lot of time on around 70 ITT kilometers. The thing I was afraid of was Quintana winning one minute in front of Nibali and Landa and all good TT'ers over 2 minutes down.
