If Froome has found enough form to gain 20 seconds here, he can still win the race, with a TT to come. A 20 second victory here would be a huge result for him.

It's still a prestigious stage to win even for a champ like Froome.

tbf, his record on super steep climbs like this is superb.

Yeah he's good but remember the 2007 and 2010 climbs, they were nearly at a standstill, Basso, Evans, etc...weird when you look at today. Maybe it was raced harder these years, dunno...

Last 15 years include a lot of great riders. Only a few examples:
-Klöden for Contador and Ullrich
-Heras for Armstrong
-Szmyd for Basso
