Aldag points out the risks of not wearing your own pants in a stage like this. Because the pads you sit on are different and that can have an influence on the entire set up potentially.

He mentioned it because apparently Steinhauser is wearing a suit for the blue jersey.

For the forum I think it was more Contador.

But the sport is far bigger than any individuals. And it's not totally empty, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

Would be interesting to do a poll among the new generation and ask them if the more aggressive riding was in part inspired by watching Contadors style of racing.

Edit:
talking about agressive riding, only a few Ks left for Pogi to attack to make it longer than Strade.

Nah I originally disliked Contador until 2011 Giro but was still pulling for Andy at the Tour. Being American and 2009 being my first Tour, Armstrong was of course the one that drew me into the sport, parents didn’t like Contador, and then add in Contador dropping Klöden like a sack of potatoes made the dislike even more.

Bjerg and Længen doing a really good job, the gap is falling to 3 minutes.
One of the few times when ae in a Norwegian name isn't actually supposed to be an æ. His name is Laengen, made up of two parts: La and engen. Pronounced with three syllables, contrary to what the English commentators do.
