Hasn't he made it pretty clear that he's not finishing, he's just switching to gravel?
Which... is also what several people who have claimed they were finishing have done.
we are talking about road racing here... HE IS FINSIHING ROAD RACING

Massive missed opportunity by UAE to gain time on Roglic. Ayuso essentially attacked on the final little bit of uphill, so if they pace the climb harder and Ayuso attacks with more than a kilometer to got he peobably gains a significant amount.
Fake pacing before nuking the opposition with a 1-2 win is definitely a novelty.

I'm not too sure. I kind of think it was bad positioning by Roglic rather than just not having it

Rogla happy. The ultimate sphinx.

Bluff???
The way he came back at the end (after being some distance back) and looking extremely relaxed, it's almost like he was hoping Ayuso would get Pink so he would not have to deal with it at this point. Weird, cause this stage was taylor made for him

Easy to talk after the stage. They rode pretty well since this was a stage tailormade for Roglic.

Del Toro DSQ for celebrating
What a teammate!! Del Toro had lots of gas left and when Ayuso jumped, Del Toro super, super aware and careful not to tow anyone while he tried for his result, which he got, Bernal absolutely drilling it, great race by him. Roglic while he didn't win still very controlled and economical, he rolled across not losing much, good race. Overall excellent race by the bunch, personally I thought first climb would have popped more riders, good chase and show of confidence and commitment by FDJ..

Ciccone did well, but the attacks probably hurt him for the sprint. Old man Caruso looks like he might be able to take that (possibly) final Giro stage win.

I will tell you this, if there is someone dangerous in this Giro is Del Toro. He is like Pogacar in 2020. IMHO.

I can see UAE slowing him down in the high altitude mountains. Oh I forgot there are no high altitude mountains, oh well. Maybe we'll miss a great performance by del toto.

Perhaps but once he wasnt immediately on the others wheel after the Ciccone attack UAE should perhaps have figured out whats going on.
That was 1.5 minutes tops before Ayuso actually attacked, though. How much could he have gained there, 10 seconds on a very good day?
