AG2R, UAE, Ineos have done nothing so far, could make for an interesting latter part of the stage, a mech at the wrong time on the steratto and someone could lose huge time

it's too late now, I think. They won't get enough of a gap before the peloton starts speeding up again before the starrato.

Sprint teams not wanting to let many too far up the road so they can get the sprint points then things should calm down.

Swift x2 and Narvaez should be moving, at least try and put some pressure on

Problem is Ganna, Foss and Sheffield are saving it for the tt

It wouldn't put any pressure on, though. There is zero chance of Thomas making a move before the little wall at 4k to go, by which point having someone up the road would be irrelevant even if he somehow dropped everyone. The stage they should be saving themselves for is on Saturday.

Nope, seems like the sprinters have given up and a lot of guys going up the road. No sprinters getting points means things stay as they are (points wise)
