Why aren't they starting per stage 1 results? Ie ag2r last

the starting order was determinated yesterday already, propably for logistical reasons because of having two stages on the same day, or whatever

Why would they actively try and take time that they simply gave away this morning? Doesn't make sense. They'll be looking at their giro rivals, testing the legs on climbs but no one will be pushing for gc

We'll see. Sky will get the train going for sure. Whether Bouet or Rodriguez can stay close enough to win GC will be interesting.

It will be closer to a 6 minute lead than a 7 minute lead by this evening anyway.

definitley not. this is only 14 km straugh roads,. very eays, I doubt any team will lose much more than a minute to the winner.

and as I predicted sky only 1:08 faster than flaminia, but probably winning time though, average over 55 km/h

Were they on motorbikes or what??

if you can do a team pursuit with 65 km/h with 4 guys than doing a 14 km ttt with 8 guys, similar difficulty as track in 55, nothing amazing or anything.

Bmc to be 10-20 secs behind sky.
Thoughts?

Will this course give us reliable giro estimates?
no... as you may have noticed this morning, the top guys don't bother. We could see some nice stages, but no useful info for the Giro at all.

What are they here for if not to get a decent ttt test against reasonable opposition?
