I thought Astana would do a bit better than that. Sky don't have a very good team for the TTT but I guess Wiggins might have made the difference.

In terms of a ttt team, sky's is good- knees, pâté, cataldo, suitsou, kennaugh and wiggins all good engines

New general classification:
1. Cerny (CCVC Polsat)
2. Bouet (AG2R) +11"
3. Rodriguez (Colombia) + 16"
4. Van Rensburg (MTN Qhubeka)+44"
5. Kochetkov (Rusvelo) +49"

Cerny will have a grin from London to Beijing on his face after today :D

So Wiggins is 6 minutes down, with Scarponi and Niemic a further 16 seconds back.

I think it will make for an interesting few days.

They had a similar team in Tirreno that lost 5 seconds to Astana over a similar distance: Froome, Cataldo, Knees, Kennaugh, Dombrowski, Uran, Henao, Puccio

So today Wiggins, Siutsou, Pate and Zandio instead of Froome, Puccio, Uran and Henao

Astana were missing Brajkovic today from their Tirreno team.

Ryo assures us that Uran and Henao are very good engines in a TTT so I can't imagine what went wrong at Tirreno. ;)

So grinding CCC to death or Sky to set the turbo on?

Could be a bit of both.

or another breakaway to win by seven minutes. :D

The big GC teams should try and get one of their second tier guys in the break. Somone like Cataldo for Sky, Kessiakoff for Astana etc.

Vino was really going well here indeed, almost got my hopes up for a top 3 in that giro, but he hit top form to early unfortunately :(

(well he did win the LBL so who am I to complain to much :D)

All that doesn't matter.

He won the olympics beating a sky guy in England.

They gotta give him another title, cause legend ain't doing it ;)

I think we've found 'best podium girls of the year so far' at Trentino by the way. Sagan wouldn't know which bum to grab.
