kingjr said:Carlton Kirby it is. But he and Harmon have similar voices, took me a long time until i could tell who's who.
JRanton said:Those podium girls are fantastic!
will10 said:Can't believe people can't tell the difference between Kirby and Harmon. Kirby normally says something ridiculous within 60 seconds of switching on, with Harmon it's more sporadic, maybe every fifteen minutes or so (unless someone mentions Vino).

now seriously,c'mon who wrote that on cyclingnews lol? that is brilliant
will10 said:I suspect Kirby could see his own son in a race and would still call him Francesco Chicchi.
Ryo Hazuki said:ah taht explains itman I always think I hear the same, well they are both tools then
kingjr said:Well I dont often listen to British eurosport usually i listen to belgian commentary (sporza, by far the best cycling commentators), if no stream is available I listen to german eurosport and if i get fed up with those guys then i sometimes listen to british eurosport.
The way i tell them apart now is this: Kirby is the guy who went mental when Iljo Keisse won the stage in the Tour of Turkey last year and Harmon is, well, the other guy.
And you're right Kirby seems to be more of a parody of a commentator than someone who actually takes his job serious.
BlenJones2 said:So what now? The toughest climb of the race tomorrow but bouet's lead is still large.
JRanton said:Bouet should win this now.
RHRH19861986 said:Having been sex worker (male prostitute/stripper, male and female clients; see also my post in clinic few days ago) myself, and still having contact (from time to time) to former male and female colleagues, I can tell you the girls you see there are absolute multi taskers, normally.
They get sent to cycling races and other sports events by agencies. Some of them are students, some work in normal office jobs, some do these publicity jobs as main job. The "white area" is the work they do like today, in Trentino, smiling into the camera, kissing sportsmen, just standing around, better keeping mouth closed.... and certainly hoping to get noticed by some rich business man.
The "grey areas" aren´t for TV cameras, they are from 20 pm to 8 am, offering much more money, aren´t really THAT glamourous, and you´re free to call it prostitution.![]()
It seems to be a great job, if you look stunningly hot, you´re in, and it´s a great feeling to know that everyone that looks at you just wants to **** you, I had the same feelings, when gays stared at me. The evil thing about it is, that you know that from 25, 30 or 32 on, you´re forced to leave this business sonner or later, and that´s hard, believe me. Also aged 22 and being the sexiest and hottest person, you know that sooner or later, headlines like these will arrive:
http://autobus.cyclingnews.com/photos.php?id=/photos/2008/apr08/trobro08/FredGuesdonetMissFrance1996
... and that´s depressing. The higher you were and better you felt when young, the deeper you go, afterwards, mentally, and even females start to drink, then - not all, and having a solid main job when being older certainly helps, but one has to get used to the new situation.
Sorry for being off topic, just had to write this...

Sir Wiggo might want to win this himself.

Dazed and Confused said:well, 4 guys from Caja Rural came in with or before Duarte. That Spanish team isn't going to the Giro.
