strange profile, with the big peaks in the first half. I'm guessing from the four identical bumps at the end that it's a circuit? Any idea how hard the final bump is? Anyways, this sounds like one of those races that I would like to see, but sadly won't have the chance..

Looking at the list of winners, it's one that really opens up possibilities, because obviously sprinters must be able to do it otherwise the likes of Petacchi wouldn't be on the winners list, but it's obviously hard enough that a good attack by a climber can make the difference, otherwise the likes of Nibali and Niemiec wouldn't be on it either.

Maybe Nibali won from a break. Or maybe the finish changes.

Ps. I just asked if this is Riccos first outing in a Vaconsolei kit.
Similarly. Is this your boys first outing in his new team?

Nope.
He's already finished 2nd for Vacansoleil, in the GP de Wallonie, last week.

Johnny Hoogerland and Marco Marcato were the Vacan riders in yesterday's M Pantani large breakaway group. No sign of the Cobra.

That had a pretty dull finishing lap.

It depends on the course because races in Italy don't use the same course every year. As seen from the OP last year they started in Arezzo and finished in Sansepolcro.
