Looks like we now know where those millions from Geox sponsorship went.

Apart from Gianetti's bank account of course.

:p

Did have a bit of a chuckle when they went up front

Harmon: Could Menchov be going for the stage win?

Kelly: There is a descent at the end, so no....

Gap is coming down quite hard.

The break (some of them anyway) might still just about make it, but I doubt they'll have much left at the end.

Looks like it might be another futile effort for the breakaway if the peloton keeps this up, eh?

Well, actually there are some though parts! :D
Of course for the most part it's flatty.
Gap coming down: 3' 30".

Peloton is definately giving up now.

Sivtsov is going to do nice in the GC and enter the top 10. Unless Menchov finds his helpers again

Meh... Peloton isn't fully working yet.

Every time one of the break attacks the gap jumps up by 15 seconds. Liqui is playing control, not catch-up.

If the break was 3 minutes further away, Nibali gets bumped off the podium. I suppose this is their concern.
Go Sean! Taking none of Harmon's inaccuracies (read: mistakes) today.

I don't get Sivtsov's tactics. Visconti seems to want the breakaway to work for a little longer, but Sivtsov is attacking all the way, even when he is the most interested one to get a big gap over the peloton.

His own DS, Piva, just told Universal Sports that his man is not a good descender and needs a gap before the crest in order to have a chance. That would explain it, no?

Just tuning in... looks like the break wins, thankfully.

Who is doing the least work in the break? Who looks the best?

(Got bets on Lastras and Visconti so hopefully one of them!)
