Scarponi and Nibali will be racing together in this years tour normally.

Cunego and Simoni raced multiple gt's together. Di Luca and Savoldelli raced together at lpr.

Not that special imo

Cunego, Di Luca and Scarponi and are not multiple GT winners though.

Scarponi's big career win at Course De La Paix was impressive, though! :p

I just found out that if you watch the full coverage from rai via steephill, there won't be any spoiler as it just shows the player, so the stage winner's name isn't there! :)

So from this post I will link to full coverage of all Giro stages without a single spoiler and completely legit/legal too!

Just note that you might be unable to watch the most recent stage immediately. I can watch the first three stages without any problem, but the player won't start with the stage today. It was the same yesterday for me, so later today or tomorrow today's stage should be fully working.

edit: As predicted the stage 4 link works perfectly now. However for some reason it doesn't contain the first 40km :(

Final update done. Full rai coverage of all Giro stages. Let's hope they will be accessible for a while.

nibali did 5.9 w/kg in tour de france, and he went full gas on all climbs, contador didn't go full gas in stage 5, stage 8, stage 19. contador and landa could do 6 w/kg if they wanted

What I see here is that Damiano Caruso max did just 0.01 watts less than AC. More than Nibali at Tour. Is he stronger than lo squalo? Sure
Numbers are numbers, riders are riders. Let's wait for the Tour to finally witness Nibali being at least as good as rest big 3.

Interesting comments on Porte and Sky from Cadel
“I was a bit disappointed by his team to be honest, and the fact that he was isolated there. If you want to win a Grand Tour, there is so much that can go wrong, you can’t leave these margins for error. I was a bit surprised by his team in this regard.

“He’s had an opportunity to be a leader before and found himself in a leader position but to be considered a contender that’s not easy to deal with, that’s a steep learning curve,” Evans said. “To go in with the opportunity to be a leader but without those expectations I think would probably be favourable to his performance. I don’t know him well enough personally to be able to make a judgement on his mentality but from the outside I think that would help him.”

“The really good three-week riders from a young age are consistently good. Contador, for example, he won the Tour de France in the young rider’s jersey,” Evans said. “They can perform under pressure, they can perform in all variety of conditions, on all variety of courses, so they’re tested and they have to be very versatile riders.

“Richie’s had a few opportunities to prove himself and he’s been really good but he hasn’t been consistent. You have to be consistently good to be a Grand Tour rider, and not just consistently good but consistently with the best guys every day of the race.

Terrible team performance by Sky. Compared to how they ride for Froome, they were like different teams. The wheel change stupidity, putting him on a bike that was way too big when he had a fall. The only thing that seemed to go right for him was the first week or so of the race and the car park sleeping arrangements. If Sky had supported Evans in the same unprofessional way he would have exploded.
