Quintana is really taking advantage of the battle for lower placings to further his own ambition. Smart move, but I don't think he has benefited enough to give him a sufficient cushion over TD tomorrow.

I'm not even sure it has given him a sufficient cushion over Zakarin, Nibali and Pinot. If he has a slight off day tomorrow he could easily finish 5th.
