Eurosport talking as if Quintana and TD are still equal favourites for the victory

Well they have to keep people from turning off. And to be fair if something happens to Dumoulin (say a flat) Quintana would end up profiting.

He's actually riding a pretty good time trial, especially relative to the other GC contenders not named Dumoulin. It was just never going to be enough.

Virtual GC
1.Quintana
2. Dumolin +9''
3. Nibali (didn't catch his time)
4. Zakarin +48''
5. Pinot +54''
If Pinot is +59 at the intermediate and Zakarin is +54, then that would mean that Zakarin has only gained 5 seconds on Pinot - Wasn't the gap between the two 32 seconds before this stage? What am I missing here???

He's posting the graphic that was on screen, it was all wrong. Meanwhile they updated it on TV and it actually checks out this time.

I am a bit confused too :D The latest virtual GC put Pinot at 4th at 55'' and Zakarin at 5th at 1'10

Quintana looks absolutely ridiculous in that pink suit, with what looks like pink boots... the organizers should know better. A pink top and black pants should be enough imo.

That one was correct because they weren't guessing for once, they were doing real math with the real 2nd intermediate times

Froome to try the double next year?

If someone can do it, it's him.

He won't risk losing the Tour to win the Giro.

Assuming Froome stays at Sky and Sky continue to exist as a team, he'll only do the Giro if/when his career starts to wind down a bit and Sky have a co-leader backup plan for July they can back if Froome is cooked.
