Haha, how has Yates acquired a middle name, yet we don't also see "Christopher Clive Froome"?

"Christopher Clive Froome" was used in the CN live update the other day.
However, no use of Richard António Carapaz Montenegro either, and poor Bilbao; his name is just so long there's no room for his first name.

I think they should always use full names.

Yates pushed back on suggestions that he could now hold onto the pink jersey after Tuesday's 34.2km time trial from Trento to Rovereto. He feels he needs more than 2:11 to hold off Dumoulin, rubbishing a suggestion that Dumoulin is tired and so will not dominate the time trial.

"I'm also very tired so maybe I won't be as best as I can be … I'm not very good anyway," he said

GC contenders virtually never ride together. We've seen it before so many times
Lol. You are probably right. They are always suspicious of each other! :D

Yates is sandbagging... in this form he isn't going to lose 2 minutes to Dumoulin and he knows it.
Yeah I'm getting annoyed by his 'I need more time'. The guy probably even says he needs more time after a 4 minute lead on stage 20.. just in case he gets 7 flat tires in the final 10km of the final stage

With the way he is riding Yates can take time also during the rest day.

I was actually a bit amused - in my kinda strange ways - about the fact that we had both Quintana and Nibali in the big breakaway of the day. :p
