Benett was off his bike for 50 seconds due to a mechanical yesterday, so lets say he lost 55 seconds he wouldve finished 7th behind Pinot yesterday.

Nasty place for a mechanical. Gesink repaired the bike before the mechanics were there.
Gesink even finished 27th himself. Would have called that bad a couple of years ago but now I think it's pretty decent for him

No hard feelings toward Gesink, but I hope he has an average wage these days.
He used to be a big earner, but he doesnt deserve that anymore onbiously.

I think he still earns around 800.000 because LottoNL signed some long term contracts with him
When was that *** signed.

He hasn't been near worth that since 2015.

Pretty ferocious start to the day, the first 100 have been done in less than 2 and a half hours, despite 1500m of climbing. Should be a difficult finish.

I will be very surprised if at least one of the top six doesn't lose over a minute today.

Thanks, I'd wondered why he disappeared from tv pictures at the bottom of the climb until they showed him crossing the line

Ciccone... what a great rider

Keep developing and maybe he can become a contender for the GC in a few years
