Not bad for Dumoulin considering his efforts this week, but good enough?
I think it's poor. He's built his whole race strategy around destroying everyone in the TT. And he hasn't done enough.

At least we'll see if he's actually capable of attacking in the mountains now.

The best thing about these relatively longs time trials is the GC picture afterwards, just finish already Yates.

Dumoulin riding a solid ITT. Nothing spectacular but will gain time.
I think that sums up his Giro so far, solid but not spectacular.

Still with a chance to win if Yates fades in remaining stages.

Great chance of a podium. Showing consistency in GT:s is also great to see. You dont win them all.

He took huge time out of his closest GC rivals except for Yates. At the moment, Yates is just on another level.

Kirby must think Pozzo is a TT great or something, very respectable result
A few chamges on his position on the bike would do wonders for him.

Pozzo's legs are bent and barring a big operation will never get the aero effect desired.

Its nothing more than respectable at the very best. Thought it was disappointing as well considering your point. Lets see if he is able to attack, or wanna risk it.

True, but at his best he'd be winning this stage by 30 seconds. And so taking another minute out of his rivals. Of course its a good time in general, but for Dumoulin, given his race strategy its disappointing.

What? This man has won TT's before, beating Froome and Dennis for god's sake. The pressure is on and he is worse than Carapaz and Lopez.
Yes, he had a bad ride. You still haven't explained how that makes him a "fraud."

fraud
frɔːd
noun

a person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities.

I'd say this is a pretty accurate description.
