The GC riders would not reel them in, but now it's 50+ in the peloton so there will be plenty of firepower to take the time back, the last 2 climbs are not that hard..

EF, Lidl, Visma - and others, will be interested in reeling the break in, but for now they are content with UAE doing the work, as long as the time gap does not go out... but the last 30K the race will be on IMO.

It was painted especially for the Giro and had the actual Giro trophy in a window - of course it was planned mate

Pedersen would easily drop on the last climb and I think Vacek isn‘t even there because he was actually dropped before Pedersen on San Pellegrino

The problem is UAE has 4 riders stronger than Pellizzari. Roglic will probably be alone against 4 UAE in stage 16.

I would think at least 2 to 1, probably 3 to 1. I'm not yet sold in del Toro being there in week 3. But Majka looks near his peak domestique form. If Martinez is not having an all-time turnaround this will be a problem. But they can bet on UAE playing it passive and wrong I guess.

On paper, I dont see why there should be a huge chase effort by GC teams.
