He was third ten years ago, it would be impressive if he won now.

A very steep final 750 metres. @Cycling111 posted the results of the last time this finish was used in 2015.
Who is is the better puncheur of Roglic, Del Toro and Ayuso? I'd guess Roglic? But maybe Ulissi FTW?

Ulissi was beaten by Contador.Roglic and Del Toro are better puncheurs than Contador.

It was impressive that Contador finished second in a final like that. He won that Giro; he was very strong.
By the way, Contador was the last winner who didn't win a stage in the Giro.

Del Toro is the big favourite, but other GC rider like Ciccone and Carapaz can do well. Ayuso and Roglic should also be ggod but, as many have said, they did not look super good in the last few days. Outside of the GC guys, I think Wout can win, because the stage overall is not rally that hard, Pedersen will also try, but I think it's a bit too hard for him. I also hope Zambanini is free to do his sprint.

Contador always was a great puncheur after hard races, specially in wet conditions.

Underrated as hell. Always made great uphill sprints in GTs
I still remember when he wasn't doing a great sprint in Montevergine (he is a bad sprinter) and Scarponi almost won it, people were going crazy about how Scarponi and Nibali would be a threat to Contador. Then he completely destroyed the field in a small hill (impressive attack) and almost caught Gatto. In that moment I knew he would win the Giro by a huge margin.

Red Bull has a great team at their disposal for such stage, going for the win, so they might decide to take over control closer to the end. Positioning shouldn't represent an issue and Dani can kick on the steepest part of the ultimate climb, Rogla after to secure around 10s on Ayuso. We'll see.

Agree. But in his day Cadel Evans was also very underrated in these finishes. Evans beat Contador at Mur de Huy (2010 FW) and Mûr-de-Bretagne (2011 Tour).

I am still learning about Del Toro but am beginning to think he might be the favorite on this stage among GC contenders at this Giro.

He had the best punch so far. Rogla is not the same puncheur he once was and some people still don't realise it. Ayuso and Chicco are great too, but Del Toro is riding uphill with such ease that he has to be favourite from GC guys.
