In my opinion you can get same or better camera shots, reduce rider vehicle incident accident chances, free up roads for emergency vehicles, keep dust down, visibility up, and reduce carbon footprint by taking 20-25 vehicles out of the mix, you can officiate the race as effective from drone use than what you see from a car or the few scattered officials on back of motos. I am just mostly pissed off that lots of favorites crashed, Del Toro will get an * next to his results because everyone was laying in gravel battlefield.. If you want gravel, stick to gravel rules, very, very few vehicles, self supported, can have road race caravan operating off road!! Have same sour feelings about Strade and Paris Roubaix were vehicles create dangerous conditions, not better support or safer race
