Honestly think perderson will win the one again just because I expect Lidl trek to nail the leadout. Chicane at 1km and turn at 300m and I think he will be second wheel behind vacek (or kragh -sorry devils elbow for my lack of lidl trek expertise) out of the turn

Multiple people at Lidl said pre-race that the final three riders on the flat would be Hoole, Kragh and Pedersen in that order. Of course they could change Vacek's role now but in any case all their options are untested in full bunch sprints thanks to Kirsch and Gibbons both being injured.

My main interest today is hoping TONELLI fancies another day in the break to bag some points classification goodies for my Giro CQ team.

Would that change much of the possible outcome Ilmaestro99 described?

Pedersen has just said on Danish TV that Vacek will be in between Hoole and Kragh.

This is just a sad display even from the Italian conti teams.

At least get a 4 man breakaway with 4 riders from your team then.

Yes. Lidl are not here with their optimal train, therefore the chances of them bossing this finish are not as high as they might have been. And Pedersen will certainly not be coming out of the wheel of Vacek.

Let's enjoy the full coverage of this exciting stage. I'm curious if the Giro is actually making profit from such stages?
