I liked seeing Sagan in the ToC, but the wide freeway roads always bugged me.I was always disappointed by the Tour of California. They have so much gorgeous interesting riding there. But the course mostly favored huge wide boring roads near population centers.
Isn't that 95% of California? Or America in general for that matter?huge wide boring roads
California has some nice coast roads and is a bit mountainous, no?Isn't that 95% of California? Or America in general for that matter?
Happy to admit was completely wrong about that as well. Didn't realise how soft the descent was, but it's still impressive that he gained time on it,I was surprised when Plapp went, because being an average descender thought he would follow on the descent. I am not confident that he can descend quickly alone.
That's not where most of the roads are, though.California has some nice coast roads and is a bit mountainous, no?
And now this.Arrieta has been very wheel-sucking in this break.
Bend, OR, is also a nice, mountainous region. Horner used to live/train there, iirc.California has some nice coast roads and is a bit mountainous, no?
He's made it this far might as well go all the way, still 18km to go thoughPlapp looking behind...
One minute is a lot.Fair hope that Arrieta doesn't win with the way he's rode.
Today he was the domestique of all.Keldermann is where dreams go die![]()
I hope so and Plapp wins. One minute is a lot.
