Have them drink one glass of champagne for each day they've spent in the race lead. Would encourage more late-stage battling because you don't want to control the race in dominant fashion and then have to defend the lead on the last day after 15 glasses of champagne.

My dad was the first Dane to ever beat Danish tennis legend Torben Ulrich (dad of Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich), because it was a charity match (in the 60s) where whenever you won a game you had to do a shot (Schnapps), and when Ulrich was up 6-0 3-0 he couldn't hit the ball anymore :tearsofjoy:

I'm now imagining the peloton riding in gladiator gear.

Cipo has retired, unfortunately.

Perfect! I forgot how much more interesting (for me) the heli views of the final stage in Rome are than the finale in Paris.
Paris is great also with all the architecture and art and whatnot, but Rome has a certain gladiator-like air about it, which is perfect for sport.

Amazing that Verre has legs to get in this break after his monumental effort to hang onto 2nd yesterday.

Oh, I love Paris, but le Arc and the Champs are some of the least interesting parts of the city for me. Also, I've never been to Rome so obviously that adds to my interest watching today.

Different drink for the different jerseys, let's start punishing those guys for farming white jerseys. And after chugging 20 shots somebody tell old mate Fortunato there's KoM points if he climbs on top of the Colosseum.

A glass of champagne for each of Carapaz's dirty looks at del Toro. (Still coming to terms with their tactics.)
They were calling Roglic a wheelsucker. I wonder how can we call del Toro after the last 2 days?

Random shots of a fast car driving around with a single on its roof.

Also... strange that nobody stayed on those spectator seats in order to watch the real show.
Yeah, I wondered about that. Maybe they charged to sit in that section, and everyone decided they'd rather stand along the roadside elsewhere for free.
