Someone remind me, when was the last Sastre could not respond to acceleration by Cadel ?

In the past I've seen to little accelerations by Cadel to judge.

Wiggins and Cioni are with Tondo and not completely out of touch, but they will struggle to get back on, especially with Nibali pushing the pace at the front. He may ride Basso right out of the group.

Your feed is late. They're on the downhill now

Or do you mean the last summit?

EDIT: You probably mean the second one. Sorry for confusing you :)

yeah - to get up to the front again after the breakaway

+1 I guess.

dim, what were you saying about wiggo?

imo sastre will lose a minute. he's not going to catch on the descent and will lose on the flat.

If he doesn't catch on, the gaps are going to be far bigger than that.

Remember we're over 40kms from the finish. 40 kms!!

im not convinced it wont all come back together over the last 40k, some of this fighting on the climb is a little pointless tbh, have they forgotten there is still 40k to go afterwards

Uhg! Evans is such an ugly climber when he is out of the saddle. His cadence looks painful.
