Basso's descend the limiting factor up front, and folk are catching. Arroyo deserves pink after this stage, that's descending with two balls.

Would have been nice to see Nibali go full throttle and what the gaps would have been then at the base of this mountain.

Arroyo is going to catch them, only 15" behind vino and closing fast. Should be on to basso by the time they hit the bottom.

Meanwhile, the usual moron commentator is going on about how Arroyo is one of the few in the peleton who is worse than Basso downhill.

He just went over the top of Mortirolo, 1'42 back. Evans has lost the Giro for sure, assuming it was ever his to lose.

Speaking of over the top, Basso's performance is pretty unrealistic to me. To see him and Nibali dropping everyone like that is pretty ridiculous.

Have you been following the Giro at all?

The only way Basso and Nibali look like they are dropping everyone else is because 7 of their team-mates have been pushing a huge pace shredding the peloton whilst they get a free ride behind them.

You're really quite incapable of being rational when Evans is concerned.

He should lose time on flat stages so he can get into breaks and go for stage wins and the KOM

But it is true. nobody has a chance at the tour esp. according to this forum.

No one has ever said that.

You want to gain the respect of the entire forum? Keep posting exactly as you do, but cut out any post that has even the slightest to do with Evans.

You'll look like a thoughtful poster.

I'm serious.

Yeah, that's part of what I'm talking about - like the blue train from a few years ago. Why the belligerent tone?
