Pink mood lighting on sky bus according to wiggo's twitter.

So from my calculations if Greipel is first Henderson must be one place behind him in the sprint to get rosa? Henderson just has to place to get rosa. It's possible.

errrmmm... Wiggo seemed to enjoy his win yesterday...

Roll on stage 2.

Greipel vs. Farrar vs.....who else?

Certainly not Petacchi. I get the impression he's far too old and slow. He's a zero compared to what he was even last year (not to mention 5-6 years ago)

Farrar is great a choosing wheels and getting results because of it, but I'm not sure he has the speed to actually come around and win.

Even last year at the Vuelta he only won a stage when he was up against non-sprinters like Gilbert. And even then it was close.

What's your beef with Henderson?

Agree about Farrar, but the reason I think he has a shot today is that Greipel was sick. He is fast enough to take a sprint if Andre is not 100%.

As for Henderson, it is his team that I find distasteful.

I'm guessing it's the Sky, Wiggins thing. I'm no fan of either, but the whole thing is getting a bit stale.

The problem being that the Shack have failed to turn up for the team "whipping boys" competition.

Wigans comment regarding Garmin was the impetus for my dislike. It can be stale to you, but you just don't slag a team that has supported you in the manner he was supported last year by Garmin, especially when you are still a member of that team and are doing so to create a media campaign so you can weasel your way out of a contract. Can't stand the guy.

I also like giving back to the Brits what they so like to hand out to others.

I agree about the sh*t Wiggins handed out to Garmin. He is easy to dislike.
As you have said, you don't like Sky. I have my own beef with the company, if not so much the cycling team.
So, my assumption to Issoisso's question was correct.

Can't help it is I'd prefer to talk about the Giro, in a Giro thread, but there you go..........

.......anyhow, I'm off to watch the stage on the big screen.

Watching it on Gazzetta. I notice how rusty my Italian has become. Maybe 3 weeks of watching will polish it up.

Well if you catch anything interesting do pass it on.

I don't speak any Italian, although I now know to say Cadel Evansuh, and I think I hear "molto molto bene" once in a while.

:p

If you don't watch the Giro with Italian commentary you are doing it wrong. I'm just upset that I can't find any Rai streams this year, I love their team.

[Mental note to self: don't trust (British) Eurosport schedules - you really should know better]

Logged in to get ready for the start of today's broadcast, seems there is a totally ambient feed of the race up already!

Nothing going on right now, finish won't be for at least two hours.

Has anyone managed to see what degree of pink colour co-ordination Wiggo is rocking today?
