I'm imagining Brown elbowing Moncoutié in the face on a mountain finish.

Does not compute.

In a sprint "a solo", he will still manage to elbow a random spectator and not keep a straight line.

He's like the Tasmanian devil, spinning around completely out of control. The only thing that could stops him is pie...

Is that the total number of riders remaining? ;)

On a more serious note, is there a minimum number of riders that need to be on a team before they are pulled from the race, like in football, the minimum is 9?

Voigt complained about the IC participation and that he didn't need a team, so I was wondering what the rules are once the race has started.

I believe the miniumum in football is 7 (ie: 7 is OK, but if it goes down to 6 then match abandoned).

Why do I bother coming here if people are just going to spoil sporting events that are in no way connected to this.

Seriously what can that possibly achieve except **** off people who, like me, don't get to watch the race live?

What, seriously?

You may not be able to tell, but I'm seriously ****ed off now.

I am having a good feeling about tonight. Evans for the win!

Jeez, the brits suck so much!

(Chokers):D

According to the CN text feed BMC lost another one today, so it probably is the whole team ;):

13:48 GMT (46km remaining from 189km)

News from the finish is that John Murphy (BMC) has quit too according to race radio. He finished last in Montalcino. It means Cadel Evans now only has six teammates. Murphy has been racing since Feb, Mar and was part of BMC's Classics team.

It was Fassa in 2003, IIRC.

Also Rabobank in 2005, when Menchov won, I remember they also had only 3 guys left.

WTF man? Didn't others have this conversation with you the other night or was that someone else?

I was watching the F1 on channel 10 as the tv next to my pc doesn't have a set-top box, Giro feed and posting on here at the same time and you just spoiled the last 20 laps for me.

Please man just never post spoilers from other sports:(

It might be best if you don't quote the spoiler details because the original may get deleted and then you will have perpetuated the spoils to the next victim.

How would you like it if someone came in here and told us in no uncertain terms that we're watching the stage on delay and X won?

No spoilers.

Delete this post.

If people actually cared about F1 they would be watching it right now not on here complaining that I mentioned the result.

Anyways edited it out.

John Murphy (BMC) has abandoned apparently. Cadel down to 6 teammates

p.s. pfft beat me to it

Hmm..saying it is evans' to lose is definetly not true. With another team mate gone it will still make it hard for him and he will need to time when he gets the pink jersey to perfection and that has to be late as possible.
