I think ivan will win the giro his third with a close tussle with fran schleck if he goes to giro and maybe purito podium. This is my first thread so hopefully done it right.

Scarponi will challenge but doesnt look like he does giro

Rujano & purito comes to mind for Podium spots, since Scarponi isn't riding

Basso and Scarponi fight out the top 2 positions, but from 3rd to 5th it can be any of, Gadret, Rujano, Henao, Kreuziger, Dupont Rodriguez, and outside chance for Tommy DG and Thibault Pinot and Danny Moreno.

Hes not definitely riding the Giro but he's not definitely riding the Tour either. Could go either way though Im still thinking Giro, because Tour is such a stupid idea and based on what has been said by him and Lampre (eg Niemiec saying his schedule is to help Scarponi in Il Giro), rather than articles quoting no one which passively mention that scarponi will be doing the Tour.

Basso has a good chance of winning, if Scarponi can get in similar form to what he had last year, then he will challenge, I'd like to see rodriquez get a podium but he will probably focus on the vuelta.

It's very easy to focus on both. He'll focus on the Ardennes is more like it.

i am going with basso, scarponi and rujano in no specific order as the most likely but i really want to see what henao, purito and a few other guys can do
