Pelizzari has roglic's blessings abi!! You should support him, he idols Roglic just like you. When Roglic retires you will become a big peilizzari fan as he carries the legacy of roglicEU media will IMHO explode in 2026 season in regards to RBH and the Tour. That is all countries involved will demand for their representative to ride Giro, after RBH say no to all of them and sends them all to the Tour, then it will get really crazy.
Why?
He wouldn't have won yesterday on a different team. The team is stacked with GC riders Evenepoel, Lipowitz, Roglic, Hindley, Pellizari. Best he learns at Bora and then moves.
If he keeps developing be might be better than others. Even next year he’ll probably be co-leader at a GT so no reason to leave. The team is stacked with GC riders Evenepoel, Lipowitz, Roglic, Hindley, Pellizari. Best he learns at Bora and then moves.
he could have won a stage at this year's Giro too, if the team was smart enough to drop him off GC when Roglic withdrew. If Dunbar could win a late stage from the GC in the 2024 Vuelta, then there was always a chance that Pellizari could win a stage. He wouldn't have won yesterday on a different team.
Why drop him of GC for a stage if he now got 6th in GC? I think the experience of going for a GC two times at such an early stage is worth more than the chance of a stage win.he could have won a stage at this year's Giro too, if the team was smart enough to drop him off GC when Roglic withdrew. I don't think 'co-leaders' really work. If (say) Lipowitz is in better form the first two weeks then Pellizzari ends up riding for him, even if Pellizzari is now in better form and can feasibly recoup that time on Lipowitz. If he keeps developing be might be better than others. Even next year he’ll probably be co-leader at a GT so no reason to leave.

Was he instructed to ride a soft TT today also?I posted at the time that Pellizari could not ride a proper GC race because he had to wait for a suffering Roglic and was instructed to ride a soft ITT.

I dont understand this. People say the same about Lipowitz. He wOn'T gEt A cHaNcE tO rIdE fOr HiMsElF bEcAuSe Of RoGliČ aNd ReMcO.![]()
I suspect he might be sick since he rode such a bad ITT as well. Or perhaps its just the two GTs in a season at such a young age that's finally taking it's toll.Must be very disappointing for Pellizzari to ride such an incredible Vuelta only too have an off-day on the final day of the race.
Still with two 6th places in GTs at only 21 years of age he has pulled off an amazing performance this year.
Redacted. Perhaps you are right but Pellizzari seemed not on a good day to be of any use to Hindley. As said above he might have been sick.If he could had worked for Hindley today Hindley would have totally made the podium.
