He is probably among the most best young riders coming up right now. His climbing is excellent.Think Pellizzari is still being slept on a lot
Definitely a future giro winner if he stays healthyHe is probably among the most best young riders coming up right now. His climbing is excellent.
He will definitely be a big contender in the future. Especially, for stage-races and GTs. His time trial seems to be improving as well.
I would not be surprised if he ultimately ends up a better GT rider than Del Toro.
You are talking about Pellizarri, right? The same dude who collapsed on Bola del Mundo and Finestre last year?Yes, he seems to have the upper hand in the hard mountain stages.
I have to admit, I underrated him a couple of months ago, but he proves me wrong so far.

Right?
Oh yeah forgot about Almeida. Those 3 for the podium spots indeed. He's definitely a candidate for Giro podium. Jonas, Almeida and Pellizzari. Should be fun!
I would not be that surprised.Early days, but it would be pretty funny if, after putting lots of energy into and splurging boatloads of cash on signing Roglic and Evenepoel, Pellizzari winds up being the most successful GT rider in Bora's history.
(obviously not counting results for other teams, it's hard to see him matching Roglic' palmares)
Shades of Nibali beating Valverde in Cividale during the 2016 Giro.I only just got to watch the summary.
This isn't the kind of sprint you can say much about riders' intrinsic speed
Pellizzari is more fluid when he is climbing, he looks very quiet on the bike, a bit more natural than Del Toro. When Isaac is struggling he has a modified Alberto Contador worm thing going on.. He rides like Mexican Axel Rose from Guns and Roses.I would not be surprised if he ultimately ends up a better GT rider than Del Toro.
Yeah, that was a really strange sprint. Giulio is definitely not known for being able to sprint. And yet he entered the final straight as the last rider of the group. Normally you don’t play any role in the fight for the podium from that position. And then he just comes flying past everyone, and you can’t even really tell how he did it.I only just got to watch the summary.

Perfect draft/timing can do that in when legs are kinda dead and the more powerful guys aren't getting the seperation.Yeah, that was a really strange sprint.
