Pogacar thanked his team after Roubaix (after the team's lamentable performance when he got a puncture), so, anyone would appreciate the team work...

Almeida is in poor form. Carapaz has had a recent surgery. Gee is in poor form. Arensman has never doen it over 3 weeks. Gall is a good climber but is a poor rider on the flats. Bernal seems to be the only other rider in good form, but he's never quite managed it after his horrific crash.

There are some decent riders but none of them are in good form.

Agree. Just by names the competition is way better then in the last years, but somehow Most of them are out of form.

Names to watch as well for 3rd place: Landa, Mas

In addition it will be interesting to see how much time the climbers (Pellizzari, Mas, Gall, etc) lose on the long ITT stage to Almeida and Jonas

I think Pellizzari is much than a pure climber. Looks more complete to me, but its still relatively early days in his development.
