glasgow cross in december

first of all I was hoping the Dec 13th date would be Dublin, but alas no. I,ve just checked the ticket prices , a ticket is £27, now I went to the Benidorm round in January at the end of our holiday in Calpe and the ticket was 18 euros, plus I was able to go and see anything I liked apart from paying in the vip spectator area , and I met the riders, dnadered round the buses, got to start finish lines. Cant see this happening in Glasgow somehow,
