True, it was bery bad. And probably some of the best support Sagan has ever had at a biggish race. There must definitely be some correlation there.

The best thing out of this race will be Echoes' tantrum.

Yeah. They all cheated by sitting on wheels. Even the break cheated, since they didn't ride four man abreast at all times.

There have been so many better editions. It was like everyone was waiting for an attack to cover as B plan for their sprinter. So nobody attacked.

I don't know what guys like Vuillermoz, Wellens, Vakoc, etc (just looking at the top-10) are hoping to achieve by following wheels and waiting for the sprint. Do they think they're going to beat Sagan and Van Avermaet? I'm fed up with this style of racing for positions, instead of racing for wins.

375m at 10% is hardly the Roche-aux-Faucons though, is it? Quebec is analogous to Amstel Gold at the absolute most.

Cobbled classic guys continue to beat hilly classic specialists on their own terrain. Too easy.
Quebec is quite easy. It's closer in climbing difficulty to a Flemish classic than a Walloon classic. Just look at the make up of the 40 strong front group.

As expected. The wind was unfavorable.. Causing this race to be boring and too easy. Really hope there is no headwind on Camillien Houde Sunday. I can't handle both Canadian races being a letdown

No.

Two cobbled guys easily won from a guy who rides the hilly classics.

You know, the usual stuff.

What kinda guy is Gilbert then, Pisti?;)
He obviously doesn't count because he has always been a crossover between cobbled races and hilly classics, whereas GVA and Sagan have never, ever, done anything in hilly races because they don't even try them, as they know they are going to win easily. Like yesterday. Obviously.

Both, a bit more hilly than cobbles though because he has never really ridden Roubaix.

He won the Omloop twice, the Ronde van Vlaanderen (+ multiple podiums), the Driedaagse de Panne-Koksijde and he has also been on the podium in the E3 Harelbeke, Gent-Wevelgem and Dwars door Vlaanderen.
