Again, Alberto, thanks for such an epic stage. No doubt you'll be back to win again next year.

And yes, you smashed the sh*t out of that drunk motherf*cker!

Chapeau - Contador deserved third place today. **edited by mod to remove doping reference**

I dislike Contador's sportsmanship, sense of ethics, and arrogance. What a sketchy past the guy has.

If Alberto could win tomorrow, that would be AWESOME!

Thank God there are Schleck fans that dont hate Contador :D

Im afraid Cancellara is gonna be unbeatable tommorow, tho.
Would be even nicer, if Contador won in Paris, shame its totally impossible

Alberto, true legend, Rijs has motifs for being proud,

Alberto is a cyclist from another epoch,

Alberto Contador is a legend in cycling and he will be remembered like that

GRACIAS ALBERTO!!!!!

Having Contador in a race is like 10 christmases rolled into one.

When people said Contador might go early i thought, yeah right - I dont believe in fairy tales.

But he did it. He actually did it. And even earlier than we could have thought.

After everything, the Giro, the knee, the Mont Allesouts screwjob even when 5 minutes down, he thinks "screw this - all or nothing".

What a race he is giving us.

Gracias Alberto.

well said, very well. gracias, alberto contador velasco!!

never seen an interview with him where he's come across as arrogant. quite the opposite. made the stage today one to remember and why?

I can speak Spanish. Every time I've seen Alberto interviewed (in Spanish) he's shown such modesty and humbleness that I couldn't but admire him even more. He's never looking for excuses for his bad performances.

I'm convinced that most Contador's haters would change their mind about him if they could appreciate what he's really like. Sometimes languages are big barriers.

His attitude on the road all throughout this Tour (not just today) only goes to show what an extraordinary rider he is. And he is a GOOD MAN indeed! :)

Peace.

Yes, for someone who is so clearly superior to the rest of his generation, he seems remarkably humble. Not arrogant at all, as far as I've seen. And after yesterday no excuses, but just said something like the bad days are what allows you to enjoy the good ones.
