Through a program of (herbal) anti-aging and marginal gains, Rupert Murdoch personally leads the Sky team at the '14 Tour . . . and wins.
with the smile on his face, i think that chick was just blowing him.

I checked how many points Froome scored on CQRanking the year before his transformation, then checked who had that many this year and a similar age to Froome 2010, so...

Rafael Valls to win everything next year. Anyone who claims doping is just a hater and jealous of spanish success.

11th in Suisse today.
All is proceeding according to plan.

Eddy BH becoming the talent he used to be. Won't even require any dope. Just Hell freezing over and the planets aligning.

Cadel to beat Horner for the TdF?
TM, dont think Cadel is riding july.

in fact, pretty certain he aint.

and cadel aint a good support rider, never been a worker, just not in his mentality or racing psychology. i will add a caveat, the exception that proves the rule, circa 2008 on lotto, he did do work for gilbert in the ardennes classic. as i say, exception that proves the rule

so he wont be a great help to tejay vG

if he was to ride that is

and yet another step further- CN headline tells about Tony's "Mercxian move" (now let's hope for some classic wins, more mountains and maybe hour record)

(btw., trans-wise: Valmerde says he's stronger than before the doping ban and reached another level - though, honestly, hard to say whether there was any transformation whatsoever)

Well, what can I say about the last 9 days of racing.

Looks like Cookson has taken us several steps back. What a complete farce. Nibbles riding like LA being at the spearhead

Yeah I am confused as to the reasoning in Nibali attacking to win the stage like he did. He could have chased and won the yellow without catching Joaquim, I would have thought, flying under the radar?

Or just gained some time and had a rest day and slowly eased into the yellow.

Or is there a rest day and it's pot luck if he makes it to the following day without getting popped?

Rest day doping conjecture aside, does anyone have any theories for why he stamped his authority on the stage today? Just because he could?

well, not so crazy prediction - after several decent uphill rides over the years he started this season in Com. Valenciana Tony riding away from PhilGil and GVA who were apparently not on holiday but racing seriously for win... and look how lean he looks like (youtube: communidad valenciana stage 2)

imagine him being wiggoed at SKY, especially on TUEsdays

Tony Martin riding away from PhilGil and GVA uphill is not saying anything at all. Neither of those guys are climbers, never have been climbers and never will be climbers. Sure, they can both fly up the Mur de Huy and the Cauberg, but that doesn't translate into them being in contention on an Alpe D'huez or any real mountain stage climbs. These dots don't connect, but that's not to say that you're completely wrong. This is pro cycling after all.... ;)

Well, at least GVA can win a mountain stage at TdF, or stay with the best climbers on hilly olympic parcours (and only mototerrorism robbed him of SanSebastian).

I know, anything can happen in early season races and what he did was not riding away from Froome or Quintana... actually, he rode away from Nairito... although on a less steep climb that does not suit Nairo (who aimed at 22% climb later in the race).

The point is, Tony's transformation goes even beyond Spartacus, who also decided to quit that boring life of serial TT winner... but moved into a natural territory for big monster tempo rider, the classics. Panzer looks like entering Wiggo territory (Vroom is in his own category, not even close to world class TTer before badzilla-induced miracle). Maybe he is doing 6 hour rides before breakfast too, who knows.
