I am looking for some advice on groin strains and seat position. It seems when I scoot up on the saddle the pain is lessened. Any thoughts?
It's difficult to say not knowing anything about you physically. What I would do is go to your bike shop (preferably where you got the bike if possible) and get a proper fit (mention the problem as well). If that is not an option, start with your saddle level (actually use a level to make sure), and tilt the nose downward a little. This places most of your weight on the sit bones and less on the perineum. Just kinda play with it a little (the saddle

) until it feels comfortable. Go for a ride, if you still feel pain, it may not be the right saddle for you, and I'd look at getting a new one. I like Fizik, personally, and they do an excellent job on their website explaining what saddle supports what.
