Not remotely: I couldn't understand why you would think that she might be from a Nordic country after we had been told that the flag did not consist entirely of rectangles. All Nordic national flags do.

Some of the Nordic flags have squares in them as well, and if you include it, the Greenlandic flag doesn't have any rectangles in it at all.

Squares are a particular type of rectangle, but they are still rectangles.
No-one has Greenlandic as their UCI nationality, so that's a bit of a red herring (possibly a Greenlandic delicacy)

You can make a cross with rectangles, but then you have sharp edges. Rectangles can form a star too. And a circle.
